EXPERIENCE SUMMER ON THE SLOPES WITH CAMP BRIMACOMBE

Back to All Posts

ORONO, Ont. – After more than 80 years of welcoming children and families to the slopes in the winter, Brimacombe is excited to introduce kids’ summer camps this summer!

Throughout July and August, Brimacombe will offer care to youth, ages 4 to 12. At Camp Brimacombe, campers will gain new experiences, develop fundamental skills, foster friendships and grow – all in a supportive, holistic-focused environment. Single-day or five-day options are available, and each weekly theme is packed with new and exciting learning adventures, focusing on exploring and appreciating nature within the beautiful terrain of the Oak Ridges Moraine.

“There is nothing more rewarding than teaching a child through play, laughing alongside them, and sharing in their enthusiasm – all while helping them develop into the leaders of tomorrow,” says Skyler Blight, Camp Brimacombe’s Director.

Divided into three categories, Sprouts (4-5 years), Saplings (6-8 years), and Mighty Oaks (9-12 years), campers will delve into topics such as nature explorers, superheroes, adventures in outer space, Brim-lympics and more! Campers will have the ability to join into these activities on a daily or weekly basis and Extended Care is available at an additional cost for those requiring it.

“We are thrilled to be able to expand our services beyond winter operation,” says Mark Rutherford, Brimacombe’s General Manager. “As a family-friendly facility, we look forward to providing this opportunity for youth in the surrounding area and delivering positive experiences year-round.”

Registration for summer camps is now open. For more information about Camp Brimacombe, please visit summercamp.brimacombe.ca.
