Brimacombe's Updated Statement Regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus
As a primarily outdoor attraction, with just under 70 skiable acres currently open, Brimacombe is very fortunate to have a very large footprint to provide our guests with outdoor space and a sport to remain active during this time. Skiing/Snowboarding is a sport that allows for proactive social distancing and we will be taking precautionary measures to ensure all of our staff and guests are able to continue to use our facility amidst this pandemic.
At this time, Brimacombe will remain open in a limited capacity and these changes will be implemented as of Sunday, March 15:
- March Break Camps, Private Lessons, Discover Program and all other group Snow School programming will be cancelled.
We understand that this decision will impact those who are registered for Private Lessons over March Break and March Break Camps. If you were registered to participate in either March Break Private Lessons or March Break Camp, a staff member from Brimacombe’s Guest Services will be reaching out to you to arrange a refund. Please understand that, due to the high volume of communications as a result of these circumstances, it may take some time to be contacted. We would like to stress that you will not need to come in-person to Brimacombe for your refund.
- Food services will be closed and guests are encouraged to bring their own food if needed. Picnic tables are spaced out outside for seating and to accommodate social distancing.
- Rental services and Slopeside Skis & Boards retail store will be closed.
- Chalet Use: While Members, Season Pass holders and guests (with lift ticket needs only) are invited to join us on the slopes if they wish, we ask that chalet use be limited to washroom use only. Lift Tickets will be available for purchase through our outer building ticket windows on the southeast corner of the East Chalet as our Main Office windows indoors will be closed.
These closures are to reduce the opportunity for close contact between staff and guests and to encourage social distancing while allowing open air activity. Please be sure to check our website and social media daily for the latest updates.
Memberships, Season Passes and Snow School Multi-Week Lesson Programs for the 2020-21 season are on sale now and can be purchased online or over the phone.
