BRIMACOMBE TO END SKI SEASON WITH A SPLASH
ORONO, Ontario — Spring may have arrived, but there’s still time to send winter off with a bang…and a splash! On Sunday, March 27, watch or join in as daredevils of all ages attempt to ski and snowboard their way across the 80-foot-long “puddle” at Brimacombe’s 6th Annual Puddle Jump Competition. With more than 50 participants expected to take part in this year’s event, spectators can expect lots of splashing, laughter and wipeouts, as well as some vibrant costume choices and cheers of triumph from those who successfully glide their way to safety. GRADE 4 CLASS WINS FREE DAY ON THE SLOPES OF BRIMACOMBE
MEDIA RELEASE For Immediate Release January 19, 2011 ORONO, Ont. — Twenty Grade 4 students from Ridpath Junior Public School will be hitting the slopes of Brimacombe for free today, thanks to their award-winning submission on skiing and snowboarding safety. BRIMACOMBE DONATES A PORTION OF PROCEEDS IN HONOUR OF LOCAL ATHLETE, MATT MORISON
ORONO, April 14, 2010 – In recognition of the achievements of local World Cup and Olympic snowboarder Matt Morison, Brimacombe is making a $2,555 contribution in continued support of amateur winter athletes. The donation will be equally divided between the Making Winter Winners fundraising program and the Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing (CADS) in Durham. Morison, who learned to ski and snowboard at Brimacombe, just completed his fourth season on the World Cup snowboard circuit and made his Olympic debut this past February in Vancouver. Brimacombe held a community party to celebrate Morison’s Olympic debut and is contributing $5 from each lift ticket sold at Brimacombe on the day of his event.…...read more

ONTARIO SKI FACILITY LAUNCHES NEW NAME AFTER 73 YEARS
Beginning this season, Ontario’s Oshawa Ski Club will now operate simply as BRIMACOMBE, along with new branding to better reflect the quality ski and snowboard experience the facility provides.
